Thanks to Hexxeh, you’re just a few clicks away from trying out the latest Chromium build
Just found this site the other day while checking into chrome os news. I have yet to try it out but I will here soon.
It’s fairly easy, if you have a drive way or access to a garage with a plug point. Not so easy in the city, but things are changing!
Wireless remote charging is a few years off, so we found the best way is to buy a timer. You can charge your car up between 12 and 6am and take full advantage of cheaper electricity rates. A full charge takes a couple of hours from empty. We plug the cable in through a window and can shut the window over the cable. How do you charge yours?
Electric charging points apparently NATIONWIDE in the UK very soon. Not friggin soon enough.

Electric car c. 1973. A beautiful example. It shows what was possible 36 YEARS AGO!!!
We could have saved ourselves alot of trouble, but Obama sums it up pretty well :))

There really is not a great point in having an electric car, if the electricity produced to run the car is derived from fossil fuels!! So the easiest thing to do is switch over to 100% renewable electricity. It is very simple.
Good Energy in the UK. It’s a great company. It should be the only way to derive all of our electricity, and should be made mandatory, but until it is made illegal to derive energy from fossil fuels, we can just sit back and think about this—-» The Age of Stupid.

After spending a weekend back in December 2008 at sicamp with Ben Matthews and the carbon co-op team. Ben suggested writing a diary of how to look after, use and keep and electric car.
On further inspection I couldn’t find any particulary interesting blogs, diaries or even books, so here we are - hope you have as much fun here as we have, in the last 12 months with ‘Sparky’.
Say hello to ‘Sparky’ everyone.
